Daiwa Crossfire LT Spinning Reel

Engineering of the Daiwa Crossfire LT Spinning Fishing Reel was guided by the LT Concept of lighter, tougher reel designs utilizing state of the art composites. The new LT cuts as much as 20 percent of the reel weight from the old Crossfire design. The solid ABS aluminum spool resists flexing and distorting and is deep enough to hold plenty of line yardage. The heart of the reel is the cold forged and precision milled Digigears.

The PROCYON LT is lighter by weight yet strong and rigid in the LT Concept. The body is constructed from Zaion, a high density” carbon strain material that is 20 percent stronger and 50 percent lighter than traditional nylon and aluminum. The True Carbon Body is reduced in size and weight, yet provides a rigid framework for the powerful gearing. The well-balanced Air Rotor is 15 percent lighter than conventional rotors yet just as strong.
